Lux Metals was Founded in 1973 by Wade Lux, a long time tin knocker with a unique talent for making the impossible possible. A consummate inventor, Wade made his mark not only producing sheet metal components for the commercial and residential industry but working on his many inventions and refining them into working prototypes.

In 1992 Clyde Wiggins came into the picture with an eye towards the future. A view of broadening the scope of work the company could perform, never turning down work large or small and the purchase of a time clock were just a few of the improvements that Clyde made in the company. With Wade’s inventive capacity for goods, Clyde first broadened the scope of the work to include custom and production fabrication for several of the industry leaders in the tech world, which include the food industry, and manufacturing industries. Along with that new field He thought it would be a good idea to delve into prototype development for those same industry leaders. It worked.

In doing so Clyde opened the doors for Lux to make the jump into High end residential fabrication of products and parts such as Countertops, Kitchen Hoods, Backsplash wall panels, and numerous other items that were not production, or prototype development items, they were just one off pieces that someone asked him to make.
